The Colorado Marathon has supported the Wild West Relay by picking up the race registration fee for the Colorado Army National Guard team, who spent time in New Orleans during Hurrican Katrina, and in the town of Windsor after the devastating tornado. The Colorado Army National Guard will also be providing patrols around the Walden area in the middle of the night during the race to enhance runner safety.
